Ricoh Ireland has recently launched its new compact colour printer Aficio to their range of digital office equipment. The compact and cost-effective printer offers low operating costs, high productivity and low power consumption. It produces high-quality colour or black and white laser prints at 25 pages per minute.The total cost of ownership is benefited by the low cost per print and its compact size means it is easy to store in an office space.
The printer boasts a low carbon footprint as its environmental impact is reduced by its ECO night sensor. The sensor has been described as a key feature for the printer, as it can activate between 5 and ten minutes after darkness falls. Alan Mason, managing director of Ricoh Ireland commented that the sensor “detects both the decline of natural and artificial light and automatically switches off the devices main power when the light levels in the room dip below a certain level.” Its other eco-friendly qualities include low power consumption, fast duplex printing, ultra-low sleep mode and increased toner yield.
All Ricoh Ireland products are Energy Star compliant, producing less CO2.
