Rits PrivateFile is an encryption utility which brings strong encryption to the desktop. Implementing the Advanced Encryption System (AES), PrivateFile ensures privacy for information protected by it. Users can, among other applications, store passwords for other applications centrally and securely, thereby removing the need to remember countless passwords. Other functionality includes the transfer of files over ftp or e-mail securely and the protection of information distributed over traditional media such as CD or Diskette.
