Irish tech solutions provider Enclave Technologies has acquired Newmarket Solutions, a business software and business intelligence firm, opening up new markets to Enclave.
Enclave director Peter Hennessy notes that Newmarket’s products include the Sage suite.
He adds: “The strategic fit with our existing business is strong. We believe that the products, solutions and resources we have acquired give us added value and broaden our product portfolio, and will have a positive impact on our growth.”
Newmarket was set up in 1991 to supply accounts, contact management and payroll solutions.
Enclave’s head-count will rise to 14 as a result of the acquisition.
The acquisition, the culmination of months of collaboration between the two companies, will see Hennessy joined on Enclave’s board of directors by Newmarket’s Gavin Elliffe.
