1 April 2005

ICT Expo, Ireland’s annual Information and Communications Technology event, is scheduled for April 13th & 14th at the RDS Main Hall. As the country’s largest annual showcase for the latest in information and communications technology, ICT Expo attracts more than 5,000 visitors. Since its formation in 2001 as a result of the merger of the Comms Show & e-XPO, business computer users and technical professionals have come to regard ICT Expo as a key evaluation point that assists them in the effective implementation of information and communications technology in the corporate, small business and public sectors.

The theme of this year’s event ‘Doing more with less’, will be reflected in the exhibits, free visitor seminar programme, ICT Excellence Awards and keynote conference. For the first time the keynote National ICT Conference, in association with the Irish Computer Society, will run as four separate tracks over the two day event split into short half day sessions titled ‘ICT in the Public Sector’, ‘ICT in the Healthcare’, ICT in Training’ and ‘ICT in Sales’.

‘Doing more with less’ is the catchphrase as this timely event catches the mood of the industry with delegates discovering how the experts are aligning vital ICT objectives with business strategies & demands, coping with the joint challenges of maintaining competitive edge while keeping a lid on ICT costs.
