Two new printers from Dell are the high-specification multifunction inkjet printer known as the A690, and the W5300n workgroup printer.

The A960 includes advanced features such as a standalone fax (with built-in memory) together with an automatic document feeder that lets customers fax, copy or scan up to 50 pages at a time. Other technical features of the A960 include print resolutions up to 4800 dot/in and a 48-bit flatbed scanner with a maximum resolution of 19,200 dot/in.

In order to simplify the ink replenishment process, the A960 comes with the Dell Ink Management System, which monitors ink levels and proactively prompts users to order replacement cartridges. The A960 comes standard with one year’s subscription to Dell’s Next-Business-Day Exchange Service

The W5300n is a monochrome networked laser printer, which has built-in networking and print speeds of up to 45page/min. The printer has a 500MHz processor and expandable memory options. Its resolution of 1200 x 1200 dot/in helps ensure that all documents print with clear text and graphics. The Dell W5300n also comes with Dell’s one year Next Business Day On-Site Service, installation and asset tags.
