ISA Software Skillnet, the training network of the Irish software sector, will launch its Cloud Careers conversion programme for jobseekers in the Cork region at an information evening in VMware, Ballincollig, on 6 August.
The Cloud Careers programme, developed in association with VMware, is aimed at jobseekers interested in beginning a career in cloud computing.
The nine-month programme, which is free to eligible participants, includes three months classroom training and a six-month work placement in companies such as EMC, VMware and Dell.
The information evening is free to attend and job seekers will hear from VMware, Dell Software, EMC, Occitital and VCE who will outline the job opportunities for Cloud Careers graduates.
