SmartOffice, the Cork-based accounts payable automation company, is entering the US market after the signing of a strategic partnership with Pine Services Group.
This partnership marks SmartOffice a major milestone for the irishn company, which has already established a strong presence across the UK, Europe, and South Africa.
Through the exclusive agreement, SmartOffice will deliver its automated invoice capture, supplier statement reconciliation, and overcharge detection technology to Pine Services Group’s US customer base, supporting organisations across construction, field services, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, retail, e-commerce, hospitality, and the non-profit sector, where cost control and financial accuracy are mission critical.
Paul Martin, founder and CEO of SmartOffice, said: “When we founded the company in 2019, we set out to build software that could genuinely transform how organisations manage their finances. Securing an exclusive partnership with Pine Services Group is a defining milestone for SmartOffice and a powerful validation of that vision. Together, we have the ambition, capability, and shared focus to scale rapidly and deliver real impact across the American market.”
“Partnering with SmartOffice allows us to introduce AI-powered AP and PO automation to the Pine ecosystem, helping organizations modernize financial operations and improve accuracy at scale. SmartOffice’s platform reduces complexity, enhances operational control, and supports more intelligent purchasing and payables management. We’re excited about the impact this partnership will have for the companies we serve,” said Chris Milan, vice president of strategic partnerships, Pine Services Group.
