Check Point secures the VPN

Check Point Software’s VPN-1 Pro is a suite of products and technologies for remote access, intranet, and extranet virtual private networks (VPNs).
The software protects the privacy of communications over the Internet and secures critical network resources against unauthorised access.
VPN-1 Pro makes network security management easier and reduces administrative overhead and provides scalability, reliability and superior performance for mission-critical VPNs.
The Check Point Management Console now includes a dedicated VPN management tab that provides a single, central location for all information on VPN Communities, including a graphical VPN topology display.
New functions in the VPN Dashboard include: the ability to drag and drop Network Objects into VPN communities for very fast VPN configuration; the elimination of ‘Encrypt’ and ‘Client Encrypt’ rules in newly-created security policies; as well as a new graphical depiction of supported VPN topologies.
VPN-1 Pro can now handle ‘star’ topologies in addition to the fully meshed VPN topology that was introduced in NG-FP1. A star topology is a VPN in which multiple enforcement points connect to a single central gateway.
