Calypso to create 150 jobs at managed services centre

Calypso Technology, a provider of capital markets software solutions, is to establish a managed services centre in Dublin with plans to create up to 150 skilled roles.

This investment supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation through IDA Ireland.

The new position will be in a range of areas including business, technical analysis, quality assurance, and application support. Calypso will expand its implementation services and offer pre-implementation, testing, post implementation and support.

“We are very excited to be working with IDA Ireland and the Irish government in launching this strategic initiative,” said Keith O’Brien, SVP-professional services for Calypso. “Through this Centre, Calypso will proactively address a major challenge of global financial institutions face: to reduce the total cost of ownership of their trading, risk and settlement solutions – from deployment to their day-to-day operations.”

Calypso software is used by over 34,000 market professionals in over 60 countries, representing more than 180 financial institutions across Asia, Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Calypso Technology employs over 700 staff in 20 global offices and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
