BMC Software has grown its Irish operations with the addition of a customer contact centre that will employ 30 people.

When recruitment for the centre is completed, numbers at BMC in Ireland will reach more than 70 employees. The new customer contact operation is headed up by Phil Behan and is located at a facility in Sandyford.

The centre will operate from 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday supporting 4,000 customers in ten languages. From there, BMC will provide customer support, support for Internet sales, telemarketing, as well as handle general enquiries for customers and partners across the EMEA region.
