The Astaro Security Gateway 120 has the same specifications as the 110, but with no licensing limit on the number of users. The Astaro Security Gateway 220 has an Intel Pentium III 1.2GHz processor, 512Mbyte SDRAM, a 40Gbyte hard drive, 10/100 Base-TX ports and measures 1U high. The Astaro Security Gateway 320 is powered by a 2.4GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor, 1Gbyte DDR RAM, an 80Gbyte hard drive, 4 x 10/100 Base-TX ports, 4 x Gigabit Base-TX ports and also measures 1U high.

Astaro Security Linux comprises six applications running on a unified management platform, with the firewall, VPN gateway, and intrusion protection applications shipped as standard with all appliances. Additional capability is offered in the Astaro Secure e-mail subscription, which includes virus protection for e-mail and spam protection and the Astaro Secure Web subscription, which offers virus protection for the Web and URL filtering. The Astaro WebAdmin management platform is used to configure and manage all six applications. Maintenance is offered in Gold and Platinum packages, which include Up2Date, software upgrades, hardware replacement and technical support.
