Reality Hoops
For: Android, iOS

Augmented Pixels’ Reality Hoops 2.0 gives users the chance to enjoy basketball everywhere with an augmented reality basket overlaying a real world. Users can control the direction and the speed of their shots. Successful shots give players various bonuses. Players with high scores may enhance their gaming experience with one of the super funky balls provided.
To play the game no markers are needed. It’s also compatible with the Apple’s Game Center and enables users to track their best scores on the Leaderboard, invite and play against friends.

Cliffs of Moher
For: Android, iOS

The Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience’s app provides visitors with a 12-stop audio guide tour onsite which can be downloaded free of charge for iPhone/iPad or Android devices. Free Wi-Fi has been installed throughout the site at the main viewing areas and in the concourse outside the visitor centre. Each of the 12 stops on the audio guide is marked onsite.
The launch of the app coincides with the introduction of a new exhibition at O’Brien’s Tower featuring its builder: 19th century landlord Cornelius O’Brien, as well as the wildlife and natural environment around the Cliffs.
The app is the result of a joint venture between the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience and Lahinch native, Matthew Kelly.
The audio tour is voiced by Matthew’s brother, US-based Dr Eamonn Kelly who was first assistant curator at O’Brien’s Tower when it was opened to the public by Shannonside Tourism in the 1970s.
