AirSpeed Telecom has signed a three-year contract worth €250,000 with corporate law firm William Fry.

Headquartered in Dublin, William Fry employs 440 people and is planning to create an additional 50 new positions at its relocated premises in Grand Canal Square.

The bespoke network designed and deployed by AirSpeed Telecom provides dual fibre and licensed microwave delivering multiple gigabit connectivity supporting the Firms internet connection, its Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) telephony and Storage Area Network (SAN) over a multifaceted and resilient MPLS infrastructure. The network infrastructure is supported by AirSpeed’s Network Operations Centre (NOC) which is proactively monitored.

Liam O’ Kelly, managing director of AirSpeed Telecom, said: “This was a hugely rewarding project working with William Fry. It is fantastic to enable one of Ireland’s best and most competitive corporate law firms to dramatically improve its productivity. We look forward to continuing to work with William Fry to identify further opportunities to benefit its business through IT solutions, enabling the Firm to maximize growth opportunities.”

Michael Devitt, IT director with William Fry, said: “One of AirSpeed’s key strengths is their flexibility. I’ll say ‘can you do this’ and invariably the answer is ‘yes’. Their expertise and flexibility was key, particularly during what was a very complex premises move.”
