Aastra UK & Ireland has partnered with Unity Technology Solutions to supply Aastra’s range of unified communication solutions to customers in the Republic.
Aastra specialises in providing PBX/IP PBX systems for small and medium businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The firm says its appointment of Unity strengthens Aastra’s reseller network in Ireland as it moves to widen and deepen its channel route to market.
Dublin-based Unity Technology Solutions is a value-added reseller of solutions, with expertise in the delivery of IT projects. Its widened portfolio now includes Aastra call-control managers, including CCMs for the SMB market as well as the MX-ONE for enterprise customers.
Unity’s Stephen Black, head of operations, said Aastra is “a global leader in the area of the SMB, IP phones and the enterprise communication market,” adding that it complements and enhances Unity’s presence in the Irish communications sector.
Aastra’s Alan Reeve, MD for UK and Ireland, noted that the relationship “will allow us to meet the needs of customers with a partner employing over 120 staff in IT solutions delivery. The corporate market for UC systems, particularly contact centres, is an important sector for us and, together with Unity Technology Solutions, we can supply customers with converged voice and data solutions to meet their business needs.”
