The appointment will see IT Resources carry the entire portfolio of the IBM PC and xSeries server range.
IT Resources was considered to offer a good deal of experience and in-depth systems capabilities to the IBM business partnership programme. ‘Business Partner alliances are key to IBM’s growth strategy and the appointment of IT Resources to the IBM Business Partner community will significantly strengthen our market coverage in the greater South East of Ireland,’ said David Tallon, PCD manager, IBM Ireland.
‘The SMB market is a major focus area for IBM and this deal is further commitment to this market as we try to provide Ireland’s small businesses with the best products and services available through our partner programme. We are looking for partners who can focus on offering comparable value through their skill set to end customers.’
The Premier Partner Programme is the highest level of IBM’s PartnerWorld programme and is currently limited to eight partners in Ireland. IT Resources has offices in New Ross and Dublin.
