The tool gives administrators total control of all software assets in real time and across multiple locations. The latest release has many new features requested by customers including improved input (detection) methodology and the ability to perform a remote audit from any workstation on the network.
The reporting function has also been enhanced, with output to Microsoft Excel and Access, along with XML. In addition, the software has a multibranch and multisite capability.
IS-IT-Legit is designed to give a rapid and accurate status of all software products installed in a company. This allows businesses to comply with a supplier’s licensing terms and also identifies non-compliant products by location and/or workstation.
Once installed, the report may be viewed on a regular basis and any changes to software asset deployment immediately identified.
