Ability has updated its office productivity suite that competes with Microsoft Office XP. Ability Office Professional Version 4 includes word processing, spreadsheet and database applications in the form of Ability Write, Ability Spreadsheet and Ability Database.
There is a graphics application in Ability Photopaint, and three completely new modules for creating presentations, creating digital photo albums, and for sending and receiving e-mail.
These are Ability Presentation, Ability PhotoAlbum and Ability Mail. The retail pack of Ability Office Professional includes two licenses for an individual’s personal commercial use, allowing installation on both a desktop PC and a notebook. In addition, an unlimited license for home-based, non-commercial family use will allow Ability Office to be used for household budgeting, social scheduling, e-mail, Internet access on different PCs at the same time. Its publisher Ability Plus Software provides technical support by e-mail, and its website features a PDF-based tutorial, a 600-page PDF User’s Guide, and a FAQ section.
