A new company has been set up to help Irish companies get a better rate of return on their IT spend.
Ennis Information Age Services (EIAS) is a new consultancy firm which aims to help organisations to boost profits from technologies such as websites, software and hardware while reducing development costs.
The new company, which employs 16 people, grew out of the Ennis Information Age Town project and since its launch in early January, has been working with a number of high-profile Irish organisations including the Revenue Commissioners.
The firm’s CEO, Michael Byrne believes that the experience gained in helping to implement the Ennis Information Age Town project makes EIAS the ideal partner for companies wanting to get a better return on investment form their technology. Byrne says, ‘The Ennis Information Age Town project was the largest IT community project undertaken in the world. We now plan to harness the wealth of that experience and research gained over five years to help national and international organisations make the most out of their technology spend.’
