A new security suite aimed at the needs of smaller business owners has been released free in beta version by security company Panda.
According to Panda, the system securely configures IT resources to enable complete security management with no need for user intervention. It allows profiles to be assigned across the organisation or adapts security measures to individual or departmental requirements.
The new solution is designed to solve the issue of unnecessary computing expenditure and offers organisations complete protection without the need to invest in dedicated equipment. The suite is also an excellent tool for value added resellers wanting to offer security services to clients, says the maker, which should also make it an attractive prospect for smaller business.
Panda Security Managed Office Protection operates on a low resource usage with minimal impact on system performance. It is powered by the company’s Collective Intelligence platform, which includes protection against unknown threats and a managed personal firewall for servers and workstations.
