Networking and communications specialist Net Safe has been appointed as the Irish channel partner of 8e6 Technologies. 8e6 Technologies is a provide of Web site filtering network appliances, which filter according to over 75 different categories.
The 8e6 range includes an entry-level device is called the Satellite XP, which is capable of supporting up to 250 users. The corporate offering is the R3000 – Enterprise Filter, which can support between 500 and 30,000 users. The Enterprise Reporter 3.0 is a device that runs on proprietary 8e6 architecture and a dedicated mySQL database. Ironmail is a device that has been jointly developed with CipherTrust to offer a secure gateway appliance for e-mail.
Net Safe also provide low cost e-mail server software from Softalk in the form of WorkgroupMail and WorkgroupShare.
