Marketo European HQ moves in to new Sandyford office
Marketo, which specialises in revenue performance management (RPM), has moved into its new European headquarters in Leopardstown, Co Dublin. The 7,000 sq ft premises is located at Cairn House, South County Business Park.
The cloud computing company, which has already employs almost 20 staff in Dublin, is now recruiting in engineering, support and marketing.
The company plans to create up to 125 jobs by 2014 in an IDA-supported initiative.
Fergus Gloster, Marketo’s managing director Europe (pictured), said: "We have seen almost 1500% growth in the US from 2008-2010, proving that our technology can help businesses grow even in tough economic times. When there is nowhere left to cut, the focus must be on increasing revenues."

Marketo was last year named Silicon Valley’s fastest-growing privately held company by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Based on the company’s revenue from fiscal 2008 to 2010, Marketo earned the top ranking by growing 1,486% with 80% of that growth from the company employing its own marketing practices. A funding round last year, led by Battery Ventures, gave Marketo a war chest in excess of $70 million.
Marketo has raised $107 million since it was founded in 2006. 2011 was a benchmark year for Marketo. As well as its new EMEA headquarters in Dublin it has launched Spark by Marketo, a solution for the SMB sector.
