The new ST368 wireless web-based digital tablet from Sumo comes with the Transmeta Crusoe 1 GHz processor, Microsoft’s Windows XP-embedded operating system, versatile wireless networking options and Citrix ICA and Microsoft RDP server based computing protocols.

Weighing in at less than 900g, the unit is also 3G compatible. It boasts a light, thin but tough magnesium alloy enclosure and comes with a removable protective jacket.

The SUMO ST368 can operate as an information appliance capable of executing local and browser-based applications. It can also be configured as a thin client or terminal through embedded terminal emulation and client-server ICA and RDP protocols.

The ST368 offers mobile access to applications and data on Windows XP Pro using Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection. It supports network access via 802.11 WLAN, tethered Ethernet LAN, and wireless WAN options and offers peripherals support, local data and application access, and optional storage through a CompactFlash card slot and USB port.

The Sumo tablet also comes with a bright 8.4in TFT-LCD touch display that offers an optimal 800 by 600 (SVGA) resolution.
