Wireless stereo headphones

Life

Bluetooth Stereo headsets have recently started to appear on the market that allow you to connect to many different Bluetooth devices such as MP3 players, phones and PCs. Some seem ungainly, and appear the size of a retro headphone set from the seventies stereo system. These phones from Sagem are different.

These headphones allow you to wirelessly connect to your Bluetooth-enabled PC to listen to music and to your mobile phone to make and receive calls. You can toggle between phone calls and music manually and you should get seven hours of talk-time and 150 hours on standby. I got them to connect to my phone easily, but was disappointed that they wouldn’t play MP3s back from my phone: more a fault of my mobiles function than of these phones. I did however easily connect them to my Bluetooth-enabled PC, and was quickly playing my favourite sounds from iTunes.

They are bigger than normal mobile mono hands free headsets, but the same size as normal headband-style stereo headphones. They come supplied with a wall charger.

They also fold away for easy storage. That’s pretty good when you consider their dual function and the warm sounding stereo they produce.

Verdict

3 stars

A solid investment from headphones that are compact and offer good quality audio.
