This electronic drawing device consists of a TFT flat-panel display combined with a graphics tablet and a pressure sensitive pen that works directly on the display surface. Drawing directly on the screen with the pressure sensitive pen can help creative professionals such as graphic, industrial, textile and Web designers and architects communicate their ideas more clearly and quickly.

The cordless and battery-free pen offers 512 different levels of pressure, ensuring that the user has better control of line width, colour saturation and opacity in graphics applications with pressure sensitive support.

During overhead presentations, training sessions and conferences, the user can annotate or sketch directly with the pen onto a presentation, without having to turn away from their audience. The Cintiq connects to your PC either by an analogue VGA port for display output, or a DVI slot for a digital connection. The Cintiq 15x can also connect to a PC via a serial or USB port.

Minimum system requirements for the Cintiq 15x include a Pentium or Athlon-powered PC or Mac running Windows 9x, NT, 2000, XP or Mac OS 8.5.1 or higher. A price for the Cintiq 15x has yet to be announced.
