The Next Door chain has over 60 outlets throughout Ireland, making it the country’s largest off-licence group. The new systems are based on Microsoft Navision and cover all the business functions including purchasing, point of sale, financials and order planning.
Fujutsu said the new system will enable Next Door to manage the flow of information between stores and HQ more efficiently.
Patricia Brady, IT Manager at the Next Door Off-Licence group said the company aims to offer its franchisees the expertise they need to create a successful business.
This includes providing everything from market research prior to opening, to shop fit-out, suitable stock for the local market and information on pricing and margin, he said.
