V525 – a great all-rounder

The MotorolaV525 is a perfect cross between function and fashion. While its silver covers and perforated blue metal bezel are stylish, there are also a few useful functions hiding under its hood.

The clamshell device folds out to be large enough to use with ease, but small enough to fit in your pocket when closed. Instead of the fiddly buttons we’ve got used to with increasingly small mobile phones, the keypad is easy to use and accessible. The large colour screen supports more than 65,000 colours; combined with the Java gaming, this makes for fun on the move.
Motorola’s V525 is one of the latest camera phones on the market. The VGA digital camera allows you to capture spontaneous moments on the move. The images can then be sent in an MMS message to your friends.
The screen on the outside of the phone allows you to see who is calling – perfect for when you are screening calls! You can also use the phone to take photos of your friends and add them to your address book, bringing caller ID to a new level.

This is a phone is quad-band, which allows it to be used in over 100 countries worldwide, including the US and South America, provided there are GSM services available.

Bluetooth capability is in-built which allows the phone to be used with compatible hands-free kits and headsets. You can also send messages and images via Bluetooth if a friend is in close proximity to you.
With a GPRS SIM card, users can access the Internet through their mobile, send e-mail and download new content for their phone. Screensavers, wallpaper and games can be downloaded to customise your phone and make your V525 truly yours.

That aside, it also has the ability to keep track of and create alarms for your appointments and store up to 1,000 contacts. It also has polyphonic ring tones, which means you can annoy everyone repeatedly with the latest chart hit or the theme tune from your favourite TV show.
