A short while ago, it was almost impossible to get broadband access in Ireland for anything less than EUR25,000. But in recent months there have been a number of companies announcing new high-speed DSL Internet services for less than EUR50 per month. UTV Internet has just announced that it will launch a nationwide DSL broadband service for residential users. ClickSilver offers ‘always on’ Internet access for a monthly charge of EUR47.50. Internet users will also have to pay a once-off fee of EUR99 for the new service, which includes a DSL modem.
