Better view: Pegasus provides better access to information

System Video, an Irish audiovisual presentation equipment firm, has upgraded to the Pegasus Opera II accounting system. The result is a 15% saving in costs.

The firm’s MD, David Carroll, notes: “We have been using Opera for over 11 years, buying the initial system as part of an IT fit-out when we moved into our present premises in Palmerstown.”

Explaining the decision to upgrade, Carroll says the new system provides better access to information, hence the savings. “The new system is easy to use, it has better functionality and more information available to the team. It also allows us to store data neatly and, ultimately, our staff are happier.”

System Video, established in 1978, has 30 staff. It designs, supplies, installs and maintains integrated systems for boardrooms and conference room – including audio, lighting and room-control – for corporate, government, home, hotel and leisure projects.

“System Video’s experience of upgrading to Opera II is consistent with our other users,” says Pegasus business development manager Carmelisa Dunne. “Opera II is more than just an upgrade but, rather, a new product that builds on the old, allowing companies to manage their businesses in a more intuitive and timely manner.”
