UPC content deal with Warner Bros. and Twentieth Century Fox

UPC has signed content licensing agreements with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to provide their top new movie releases and a further library of catalogue titles to UPC On Demand TV.
 
Movies being added include Warner Bros. "Wrath of the Titans" and "Rock of Ages, and Twentieth Century Fox’s "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" and "This Means War".

UPC said that views of its On Demand TV content have increased to more than 8 million, marking a significant change in Irish TV viewing habits over the past four months since the launch of the service.
 
"UPC On Demand customers are throwing away the TV rule book and scheduling their viewing around their own busy lifestyles," said UPC Ireland’s Head of Content, Simon Kelehan. They’re choosing the best entertainment from our huge range of On Demand content whenever they want it at the touch of a button. It’s all delivered through UPC’s fibre powered network straight to your TV."

On Demand is part of UPC’s digital TV service which also includes services such as Digital+, remote record app, series link, TV Buzz and TV search.
 
The service was recently expanded to Kilkenny, Carlow, Sligo, Portlaoise, Clonmel, Thurles, Athlone, Mullingar and Navan.
