Epson EH-R4000

Epson released six new models of home cinema projector at IFA in Berlin last week covering most price points, from the budget-conscious to the home entertainment obsessive. For the latter we’re going to look at the EH-R4000.
Boasting a mighty 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (ordinary projectors start at 600:1), a lens with positioning memory and 3LCD reflective technology for enhanced colour reproduction, the EH-R4000 really earns its stripes in 3D, the new acid test of clarity and resolution. Our test viewings showed little to no ghosting of images and plenty of depth.
