Sony Xperia arc S

Sony Ericsson is looking to continue its rehabilitation from the depths of the Satio and Aino with this Android 2.3 Gingerbread cameraphone, with an emphasis on the ‘camera’. The Xperia arc S has a 1.4GHz processor, 4.2" Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 8.1MP camera with HD video capability and an Exmor R for mobile image sensor that enhances still images and videos taken in low light conditions. Its 3D sweep function captures panorama images which can be viewed on a 3D TV using the HDMI output.

Access to the Sony Entertainment Network Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited services is included.

Epson MG-850HD

Epson is claiming to be the first manufacturer on the market to release a 720p 3LCD home cinema projector with an integrated iPod docking station.

With inbuilt 10W stereo speakers, the MG-850HD is able to play music, videos and photos, as well as TV programmes and feature-length films previously downloaded from iTunes, on a large, cinematic scale that can reach up to 300 inches. Its versatile connectivity also means that content can be viewed from Blu-ray, DVD, PC, TV and consoles.

The projector delivers equally high White and Colour Light Output of 2,800 lumens and a high contrast ratio of 3000:1, ensuring high quality images are projected, even in daylight.

The unit comes with a carry handle for easy portability and the lens can be aligned either manually or by using the automatic vertical keystone correction function.
