The Z553 is Logitech’s latest entry in its line of PC speakers. The System features two satellite speakers and a down-firing subwoofer offering 40W (RMS) of power and can handle to three devices at the same time with a direct input. The speakers (which can be wall-mounted) also come with a pod for controlling volume and bass levels.

Sharkoon X-Tatic Pro
The Sharkoon X-Tatic Pro comes with an improved design, more connectivity options and an additional Microphone Voice Monitoring (MVM) feature.
With Dolby Digital decoder and Chat support, it provides realistic 3D tone through its Sound Control Unit (SCU) and eight speakers deliver the native 5.1 sound.
Each ear cup has a 27mm centre speaker, a 30mm front and a 30mm rear speaker plus a 40mm subwoofer.
The heart of the headset is the Sound Control Unit (SCU) with a Dolby Digital decoder and various connection options. The cable of the headset opens into a nine-pin mini DIN connector. The SCU provides two G9 jacks, so that a second headset can be simultaneously connected. The decoder chip of the SCU supports the Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital 2.0 digital sound standard, and in addition the analog encoding format Dolby Pro Logic II. The switchable Dolby Pro Logic II function decodes 5.1 Sound from incoming stereo signals.

Sticking to its belief that there is life in Symbian yet, Nokia’s Asha 308 and 309 tread the sub-smartphone market at a low price point. Both the 308 and 309 have 3", 400×200 pixel displays, microSD storage and a 2MP camera. One quirky feature, the 309 will take a second SIM card making it useful for frequent fliers.
