Specialized Turbo e-bike

Too fast to be legal in Europe, this e-bike is powered by a 250W motor that, used in conjunction with some pedal power, gives the Specialised Turbo a top speed of almost 45km/h. Other bells and whistles include an onboard bike computer measuring speed, battery charge, distance and time; integrated LED lighting and ANT+ for connecting gadgets wirelessly.

After a few tweaks it looks like a European release will happen in May.

Infinity Cell

Not available on the open market yet but this novel charging solution for the iPhone 4 and 4S is worth a mention. Infinity Cell takes kinetic energy and uses it to replenish your battery. After 30 minutes of shaking you get a 20% charge, three hours will get you a full charge. The idea is you wear it as an accessory and let the magic happen while you go about your regular business.

The project is on Kickstarter with a $155,000 target. A donation of $125 will nab you a unit of your own.

Price: $125
