Eircom has partnered with Topaz to rollout its WiFiHub offering in 110 Topaz petrol stations across the country. To date eircom has enabled 1,500 W-Fi hotspots nationwide.

To access the services customers log on to the eircom WiFiHub page at any hotspot or use an app available for Android and iOS.

Eircom broadband, eMobile and Meteor customers can access the Internet for free at any of the WiFiHub enabled Topaz petrol stations. For eircom landline and non-eircom customers, the first 10 minutes are free and then there is a flat rate charge of €1, valid until midnight that day.

Elaine Robinson, director of products and strategy, eircom said: "This service will not only benefit the large workforce of reps, drivers and those travelling for business meetings but also the recreational traveller who wishes to use the internet to help break up a long journey, access information on the destination they are travelling too or look for directions."
