In 2024, organisations have had to contend with the Digital Operational Resiliency Act (DORA) and the EU’s second directive on security of network and information systems (NIS2). The former’s deadline for compliance is 17 January 2025, while the latter was due to be fully transposed into law by 17 October 2024 – a deadline met by one member state. Clearly, organisations are struggling to get the resources in place to come into compliance with standards from Brussels.

The first TechCentral webinar will look at the topic of EU regulations, and in particular the difficulties managing the transition from debate to implementation.

On 27 November at 10am TechCentral editor Niall Kitson will chair a panel conversation for IT professionals looking to improve their knowledge of the regulatory process and gain insight into how their peers are coming into compliance.
