Supplierforce puts Carphone Warehouse in driving seat

Supplierforce, the Dublin-based provider of strategic supply management products, has won contracts with The Carphone Warehouse and Vhi Healthcare in Ireland. The deals are together worth EUR*200,000 to Supplierforce.

For the customers, says the provider, it will mean a saving of over €2.5 million over two years.

The Supplierforce products are designed to help each of them to achieve their objectives of reducing costs in their supply base while maintaining or increasing the level of service delivered. Supplierforce CEO Declan Kearney notes that recent times have made managing of costs “a strategic imperative for all organisations”. He said this cost-cutting ethos is “presenting significant opportunities for Supplierforce.”

Kearney added: “Our ability to secure maximum value from procurement activities by helping customers to reduce costs by between 20% and 50% is proving to be a compelling proposition for a diverse range of customers.”

“We are delighted that The Carphone Warehouse and Vhi Healthcare have selected Supplierforce as their strategic supply management,” Kearney concluded.

Supplierforce is providing The Carphone Warehouse with its Supplier Information Management (SIM) solution and services to gather and transform the management of a range of European supplier information. SIM has been delivered to rapidly gather critical contractual and supplier company information.

Vhi Healthcare, Ireland’s largest health insurance provider, has engaged with Supplierforce for a range of strategic supply management solutions.

Enterprise Ireland’s Tom Hayes, head of the high potential start-up unit, noted: “Supplierforce is exactly the type of innovative, Irish-based company that Enterprise Ireland is keen to support.”
