Spanish Point Technologies awarded Microsoft AI specialisation
Spanish Point Technologies has become the first Irish company to receive a Microsoft Azure specialisation to build and modernise AI apps.
The specialisation can only be earned by Microsoft partners that meet criteria around customer success and staff upskilling, as well as pass a third party audit of their Web workload deployment and management practices, including their ability to implement Azure App Service.
Daire Cunningham, chief operating officer, Spanish Point Technologies, said: “Achieving this AI specialisation allows us to offer unparalleled innovation to Irish businesses. By integrating Microsoft’s advanced AI technologies, we can build AI-powered modern applications that are both scalable and future-proof.”
A recent study by Forrester Consulting commissioned by Microsoft found that a composite organisation representative of interviewed customers realised significantly improved business outcomes with AI, including 1.5 months faster time to market for new apps, up to a 25% increase in developer efficiency and up to a 25% reduction in app downtime.
Clare Hillis, head of partner sales, Microsoft Ireland, said: “By harnessing the power of Microsoft’s Azure AI tools, businesses can accelerate their time to market, enhance application performance, and maintain a competitive edge in today’s dynamic business environment. We are delighted to partner so closely with Spanish Point Technologies to bring this capability to the Irish market.”
