Sony Professional targets SMEs, schools with E-Series

Sony Professional has added to its range of VPL-E series business projector range for SMEs and classrooms.

The four new E-series projectors each offer native XGA resolution for high image quality with a high brightness of 3600 lumens (VPL-EX175), 3100 lumens (VPL-EX145), 2600 lumens (VPL-EX120), or 2300 lumens (VPL-EX100). A longer-lasting lamp design with a new Eco Mode function, the manufacturer saiys, cut power consumption and reduce running costs, helping to minimise the cost of acquiring or upgrading projectors.

By incorporating a newly developed lamp and advanced lamp-control technology, the new VPL-E projectors promise an extremely long lamp replacement time of up to 6,000 hours.

The VPL-EX120, VPL-EX145 and VPL-EX175 use Sony’s latest generation of inorganic BrightEra panels for better contrast and colour stability, whilst also contributing to the durability of the whole system.

Each of the new VPL-E series projectors is fitted with a standard 1.3x zoom lens, making it easy to replace any existing projector without needing to change ceiling mount positions.
