The style conscious digital photographer will no doubt be intrigued by the latest offerings from Sony: The Cyber-shot DSC-W30 and DSC-W50 offer a combination of sleek looks and superb image quality.

They both feature ‘Anti-Blur’ High Sensitivity ISO1000 technology for sharper shots when shooting moving subjects indoors or for more natural shots without the need of a flash in low light conditions.

Combined with the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x Optical Zoom lens and a 6.0 effective Megapixel Sony Super HAD CCD, the results produced are impressively sharp.  The cameras also feature a 6x Precision Digital Zoom, and a 13x VGA Smart Zoom to help you view subjects near and far.

Plus, you’ll never miss a shot with up to a 400 shot battery life using the supplied Lithium-ion battery.  Showing off you’re work is made easier too: The Cyber-shot W30 offers a convenient 2-inch LCD screen, whilst the W50 includes a larger 2.5-inch LCD screen.  In addition to sharing your favourite pictures on the large LCD screen, images can be viewed by connecting to a TV screen.  With the 16:9 shooting mode you can even shoot wide-screen images for playback on a wide-screen TV.

The RRP of the DSC-W30 is €269 and the DSC-W50 is €299.
