Sharp UK has awarded Dublin-based document solutions distributor Sharptext ‘centre of excellence’ status.

The award was made in recognition of Sharptext’s high levels of certification for technical and sales practices, as well as investing in demonstration facilities and maintaining a growing business.

John Dunne, MD of Sharptext, said: "We’re very happy to receive this accolade. Everyone on our Document Solutions Team has been working very hard to achieve this status and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership with Sharp into the future."

Sharptext was founded in 1980 as a distributor for just a single brand, Sharp. Since then the company has grown to become the country’s largest distributor of IT products, with a portfolio of many of the world’s best known brands. It has maintained the link with Sharp throughout and recently announced a managed print service.
