SAP has announced a significant rejig of its senior directors to accompany a restructuring of its Global Field Organisation – the ERP giants’ sales and services structure.
SAP Co-CEO Bill McDermott said, “We are aligning our Global Field Organisation behind trusted leaders to focus our energy on delivering innovation and business value for our customers.”
Ray Wang, founder of analyst house Constellation Research, said the moves were “solid choices” for SAP and its customers. “Product teams must align with field teams,” said Wang. He added that the reorganisation raised questions about what is happening with SAP’s product lines.
