
Samsung reveals new devices and vision for home AI at IFA 2025
Samsung revealed a slate of new products at IFA 2025 in Berlin. Along with a new ‘fan edition’ of the flagship S25 smartphone, there was a new tablet topped off by a range of home appliances showing off the company’s commitment to AI beyond home automation as we know it.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE
The Galaxy S25 FE retains the ethos of the FE range as an entry level product. This year’s model leans in to generative AI and editing tools like Generative Edit and Instant Slow-mo. It features an upgraded 12MP front-facing camera, and rear-facing 12MP Ultra-Wide, 50MP Wide Camera and 8MP telephoto (with 3x optical zoom) – all managed by AI-powered ProVisual Engine.

With Galaxy AI built into Galaxy S25 FE and optimized by One UI 8 and multimodal AI agents, more users will step into a new era of natural and effortless interaction – where voice, touch and visual input combine to simplify and enhance everyday tasks by making them even more intuitive.
It also has a 4,900mAh battery and a more than 10% larger vapor chamber offer smooth, responsive performance with 45W wired charging support ensuring users can stay creative, entertained and connected while on the go.
The Galaxy S25 series comes in Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White.
Galaxy Tab S11
Samsung had to tablets to reveal, and a redesigned styles to make use of them with. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (Samsung’s thinnest to date) and Galaxy Tab S11.

AI Home
Samsung Electronics also presented its vision of AI Home: Future Living, Now. The concept goes beyond smart appliances; it creates a living environment that recognises routines, adapts to individual needs and thus plays a supporting role in daily life, said Cheolgi Kim, executive vice president and head of digital appliances business (pictured).
Research from Samsung showed that 66% of consumers find an AI-driven home appealing, with many expecting streamlined daily tasks and improved control via phone or voice commands. AI Home, powered by SmartThings automation, makes it possible by synchronising lighting, temperature and blinds with the weather, making daily life easier and more efficient.
Two thirds of respondents expect AI to contribute to cost savings, and SmartThings Energy, for example, can reduce the energy consumption of washing machines by up to 70%. Security remains a priority, with 40% of consumers expecting AI to identify alerts in a timely manner. Samsung Knox Vault protects sensitive data at the hardware level, while Knox Matrix provides ecosystem-wide security for connected devices.

Samsung showcased a range of AI applicances. The Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra is a robotic hoover with advanced AI Object Recognition, which can detect transparent liquids. The Bespoke AI Washer automatically adapts washing cycles to clothing types and performs 65% better than the minimum threshold for A-class in energy efficiency tests. The Bespoke AI Dishwasher optimises the cleaning cycle based on dirt level and speeds up the drying process thanks to the Auto Open Door function. The Extractor Induction Hob maximises kitchen space by integrating the extractor into the hob.
Other highlights included Galaxy Buds3 FE, Micro RGB, a 115” display; The Movingstyle portable touchscreen TV with built-in battery and adaptive AI; and the Sound Tower smart speaker.
