The National Centre for Technology in Education (NCTE) has confirmed 7 February as the date for Safer Internet Day 2012. This year’s family-friendly theme is Discover the Digital World Together…Safely!.
A global initiative to promote a more secure Internet for all users, especially young people, Safer Internet Day seeks to promote awareness of how to get the most out of the Web without falling prey to online predators or stumbling across inappropriate material.
