Green agenda: Ricoh Ireland’s Alan Mason
Office and printing solutions specialist Ricoh, for the seventh consecutive year, is among the “global 100 most sustainable corporations in the world”, according to judges at the annual World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland.
Alan Mason, managing director at Ricoh Ireland, notes that the firm’s green agenda combines “ecological concerns with best business strategies to drive environmental conservation and profitability simultaneously.”
Mason says every Ricoh office holds the international standard ISO14001 for the design and implementation of effective environmental management systems, and all factories have a ‘zero waste to landfill’ policy.
The 100 firms chosen at Davos were among 3,500 corporations in all business sectors.
