Revolut is strengthening its strategic alliance with Google Cloud. The contract aims to help Revolut support its rapidly expanding global systems while ensuring optimal performance, as its customer base continues to grow exponentially. To achieve this, the company will make use of Google Cloud’s secure and scalable infrastructure.

This partnership is built on solid foundations. Revolut holds top positions in app stores across various markets and has established itself as one of the world’s leading partners for Google Pay and Wallet.

With this multi-year, multi-million-pound contract, Revolut aims to further anchor its strategy and reach more than 100 million daily active customers worldwide.

Revolut plans to leverage Google’s AI and machine learning solutions to enhance its fraud detection processes and offer more relevant products and services. The advanced technology will enable the fintech player to optimise all aspects of its operations, from back-end processes to the user experience in the app, according to the company.

David Tirado, vice president of global business and profitability at Revolut, emphasised that Google’s advanced AI, cloud infrastructure, and advertising expertise are invaluable to the company. He added that this partnership enables Revolut to expand rapidly, offer customers more personalized and valuable experiences, and stay ahead of the traditional financial sector. “We are building the future of finance, and Google is an essential partner in that,” he said.

In addition to launching its own ATMs in Europe and offering innovative savings and investment opportunities this year, Revolut also plans to transform the telecom sector by offering more competitive and comprehensive mobile subscriptions in the United Kingdom and Germany.
