Technology group Computerlinks has revealed a new service aimed at generating additional revenue opportunities for the channel by providing greater functionality and flexibility for customers of F5, the WAN acceleration vendor.
The service has been developed specifically to support F5’s customisable iRules IP traffic management scripting capability.
In response to increasing demand from resellers to maximise their customers’ investment in the F5 BIG-IP product family, Computerlinks has developed two levels of service, to be offered by F5-accredited consultants.
• The standard service is a pre-defined set of the 50 most popular iRules, capable of handling everything from traffic optimisation, assisting with security compliance demands such as the PCI DSS standard, to solving routing issues and tightening web security.
• The bespoke service comprises individual consultancy to create a set of custom iRules to suit specific customer requirements.
The standard service is delivered on-site by an engineer, and includes post-installation support. The bespoke service includes full pre-installation scoping, custom-built iRules, plus installation and configuration by certified engineers.
Computerlinks’ David Ellis said his firm was “constantly reviewing and developing our services to help our partners deliver cost-effective solutions with minimum investment and maximum return for themselves and their clients.”
