Every Command & Conquer fan will delight in the Red Alert 2 add-on Yuri’s Revenge, for it makes the world’s greatest real time strategy game better than ever.
The arrival of Red Alert 2 last year was keenly awaited, with hundreds of copies pre-ordered long before the game went on sale here. For those who did invest in that EA release, this mission add-on is money well spent. The only trouble is that playing online games against human opponents is the way to benefit most from Yuri’s Revenge. While the missions on the CD are enjoyable – and provide hours and hours of play – they are really only a tutorial for online gaming.
Playing the CD mission you can only assume control of the Allied or the Soviet forces, you can’t play as mad man Yuri except in an online game.
