Cape Clear’s CapeConnect 3.5 enables organisations to integrate applications and systems faster and more cost-effectively than traditional Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) software. The platform allows developers to automatically expose existing Java, EJB, .NET, and CORBA components as Web Services without writing code. It can connect a range of technologies using Web Services standards such as SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI.
CapeConnect 3.5 supports Microsoft .NET, ensuring that Web Services-based applications created on different environments can seamlessly interoperate with the latest release of .NET.
The platform enables SQL databases to be exposed as Web Services, allowing the rapid creation of Web Services to access enterprise data. The UDDI functionality within CapeConnect 3.5 has been upgraded, including support for UDDI registries on Oracle databases, improved search facilities, and a major upgrade of CapeConnect’s UDDI graphical interface.
CapeConnect 3.5 can be deployed either as a stand-alone platform or as a native J2EE application within leading J2EE application servers, such as WebLogic and WebSphere.
