Pure Telecom is to add 30 new jobs over the next two years in an investment worth €2 million.

The positions will be spread across customer care, sales and technical support and will bring the total company headcount to 80 employees.

Pure Telecom recently signed a two-year partnership agreement with eircom Wholesale worth €20 million, giving Pure Telecom customers access to eircom’s high speed fibre broadband network.

The Irish-owned telco will aim to secure approximately two thirds of its new customers from its Purely Broadband service, offering high speed fibre broadband up to 100Mb/s with no download limits and no land-line charges.

“We’ve achieved consistent year-on-year growth and this announcement is a statement of our ambition to grow our business very strongly,” said Paul Connell, director, Pure Telecom. “We’re looking to add people to our team who have the hunger, drive and dynamism to build a successful career in telecoms. We want people who share the same values that have helped Pure Telecom grow to the company it is today. For us it is all about passion for customer service.

“We’re transforming people’s expectations about the level of customer service they should expect from their telecoms services provider. We provide a very simple mix of a very responsive service, together with the best possible telecoms solution for each individual customer. We have the huge advantage of not physically owning our own network, which means that we can effectively act as a telecoms broker, not constrained by any single network.”

Pure Telecom is targeting an increase from 30,000 to 45,000 residential and business customers over the next year, yielding additional revenues of approximately €6.5 million.
