With this update, enterprises and service providers can provide end-to-end performance of applications by marking, mapping and measuring application traffic over MPLS-based virtual private networks (VPNs).
With PacketWise operating software on PacketShaper and AppVantage systems, the systems can act as application-level ‘traffic conditioners’ on the edge of the MPLS backbone to police, mark, map, measure and meter inbound and outbound traffic.
